L5P.com: Where are you from originally?

T.T.: "I was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. and lived there for 34 years, then I moved to Atlanta, straight to L5P."

Thomas has been in L5p for about 4 years now and works as a professional freelance photographer.

L5P.com: how do you come to be a full time artist?

T.T.: "I always wanted to be an artist, I started drawing when I was 5 years old (ha, ha) it was primitive of course stick figures, tanks, scenery, etc, etc. It really grew into a hobby though, I started drawing, painting and doing photos, then college. After 2 years of college I decided to get away from the intellectual life so I joined the Army."

After the Army Thomas concentrated on the art world, in 1985 he got his first art studio and shortly after that his first dedicated show. Since then he's been living and learning in life as an artist, his styles come in many different forms.

L5P.com: How do you interpret this series of your art?

T.T.: Men and Bugs 8 pieces with figures. "It's a series, it's about painting objects, like figures and insects."

He's done other series, plenty of them, he doesn't like to try to explain his art he likes to paint it, he said. Different series, different figures, different backgrounds.

L5P.com: How many pieces of your own work do you think that you've collected over the years?

T.T.: About 50 paintings, 30 drawings, "I broke all the sculptures" and 1000's of photographs.

Over the years Thomas has had photography exhibits all over the country to show his work. L5P.com: How many pieces of your work are for sale?

T.T.: There all for sale! That's all I do, I've done a lot of work.
